Tran Thi Kim Luyen is a senior associate and member of the Hanoi bar. She has advised clients in various industry sectors including hospitality, distribution and real estate with respect to corporate/mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. Luyen is also a qualified translator.
Senior associate and member of the Hanoi bar, Luyen started her career as a legal and commercial translator in 2002 before becoming a lawyer and member of the Hanoi bar in November 2014.
Luyen has particular experience advising clients in matters related to their investment and business activities in Vietnam including drafting and reviewing various contracts, agreements, letters, and other legal documents. She notably advises one of the world’s leading hotel management companies in the preparation and review of hotel management agreements to be signed with Vietnamese hotel owners and developers for the management and operation of a number of international standard hotels in Vietnam.
She has gained considerable experience in advising clients on a number of major transactions in Vietnam, including a leading international distribution and retail firm in the sale of its Vietnamese shopping mall and supermarket chain. She also regularly advises the Vietnamese branch of a leading international distribution and retail group in its daily business activities and various service contracts or premises lease agreements.
In addition, she is a professional translator and has many years of experience in translating various types of legal and technical documentation from Vietnamese to English and vice-versa.
